The Role

Are you ready to be part of a dynamic team, dedicated to excellence in electrical solutions? Elektra Ltd. is seeking passionate and driven individuals to join our technical team as Field Service Technicians on a full-time basis.

Responsibilities

As a Field Service Technician at Elektra Ltd., you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and performance of electrical systems. Your responsibilities will include:

• Maintenance and commissioning of Uninterruptable Power Supplies Systems.
• Maintenance and commissioning of Voltage Stabilizers.
• Maintenance and commissioning of Power Factor Correctors.
• Maintenance and commissioning of Electrical Switchgear.
• Resolving customer issues and complaints related to various electrical and electronic systems.
• Servicing, commissioning, de-commissioning, testing, repairing, planned/reactive maintenance, and upgrading of electrical equipment.
• Diagnosing faults and executing necessary repairs.
• Building and maintaining positive relationships with vendors, suppliers, and clients.
• Ensuring strict adherence to health and safety procedures at all times.
• Presenting a professional image of the company internally and externally.
• Handling any administration duties as required by the department.
• Providing support for other departmental tasks as directed by superiors.

Required Skills and Knowledge

To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and attributes:

• A Higher Technical Diploma in Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
• Proficiency in both Maltese and English is essential.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Proactive with excellent self-initiative, even in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable working with computer-based systems.
• Customer-oriented mindset with a dedication to exceptional service.
• A positive employment track record that demonstrates reliability.
• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Responsible and capable of working under pressure with minimal supervision.
• High energy levels and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Clean police conduct.

Assets:

• Electrician’s License A & B will be considered an asset.
