Zen Sushi To Go

Elektra embarked on yet another challenge to complete their fourth ‘Zen Sushi to Go’ outlet this time in the heart of St Julians. The Marina Restaurants Ltd gave a completely new life to the well-known Dick’s Bar as it was revamped to a ‘take-out/dine-in’ sushi concept restaurant.

Elektra was once again approached to get involved and provide them with the same light design concept following the healthy rapport established on previous projects.

The contemporary lighting solutions selected for Zen Sushi to Go outlets are equally the same for all the projects. The designers selected light fittings from Deltalight, Duralamp and Sulion. From the latter brand, the ‘Yangon’ Bamboo Pendant Lamp was the preferred choice to be a staple signature lamp for all the outlets. This lamp symbolises the bamboo plant that runs deep and wide across Japan, the land of sushi. ‘Yangon’ completes the design as it fits perfectly the Zen theme that had to be carried out throughout the restaurants.
